A go-getter, a mother of two, and now a multi-site Studio Pilates International franchise owner, Carissa Vaudrey knows a thing or two (actually hundreds) about how to drive a business to success and break records while she’s at it. This year alone, she has set a new achievement of most Intro Packs sold prior to opening at an impressive 655. And while it’s great to have all this success through hard work, it’s even more fun to do this with a supportive team of her own - and that is something she couldn’t be more proud of. “As a mum of twins, when I opened my first studio in Silverdale, I joked I had triplets before realising with Kumeu I couldn't just keep extending the number of "babies" I have. So instead, on social media, we announced Silverdale was expecting a little sister studio called Kumeu in order to continue the family theme. It made sense because our studios are built on a strong sense of family and community and it's definitely what makes our studios so successful. Silverdale taught me how to integrate business into the fitness space and Kumeu taught me to trust in myself more. With two record-setting studios, I am excited for studio number three coming later this year because of what I have learnt and how to use this to make Hobsonville the best one yet.”
